Back in the 90’s there was this MTV show called Liquid Television and on that was a segment called “Dogboy” by one of my favorite comic book artists Charles Burns. UgLi takes the style of that show and puts it into their newest video for “House Pet” complete with the plastic hair do’s and weird stop motion. The amazing video kind of takes the heat off the fact that the song is kind of standard 90’s alternative punk in the vein of Veruca Salt meets The Muffs. There is no way though that you watch the video and don’t enjoy it and the singers elastic facial expressions. I’m betting children of the 90’s are going to enjoy this immensely.
