Theodore Grimm “Wild West” Review by Deborah J. Draisin

Mint Records’ Theodore Grimm’s first new song since 2007, the four minute epic, “Wild West”, incorporates their signature sound, yet is so unlike anything they’ve ever done before. The layered vocals, the wall of sound guitars, and the addition of some cleverly placed effects give the song a progressive flavor which adds to the drama of its subject matter.

Lead guitarist and vocalist Mark Renda, drummer Chucky Grimm, and new bassist Alex Burton are released the new single on Halloween, in honor of their first ever live show,  back in 2003 (ah, when we were young!)

Fans of the band’s earlier incarnations will be surprised (and hopefully thrilled!) by their new sound, and look forward to (as I am doing) future material in this style from them.
