Los Angeles rock band Stitched Up Heart has announced their new full-length album, MEDUSA, set for release on June 12. The album marks a new chapter for the band, who formed in 2010 and are led by vocalist Alecia “Mixi” Demner. Known for heavy guitar riffs, strong choruses, and personal lyrics, Stitched Up Heart continues to build on the sound that has earned them a dedicated rock audience over the years.
Along with the album news, the band has released a new single and video titled “GLITCH BITCH,” featuring fellow rock group Conquer Divide. The song focuses on confidence in the digital age, especially how online spaces can become places for bold self-expression. Musically, the track leans on heavy guitar tones and a sharp, direct vocal delivery. Lyrically, it explores identity, image, and attitude in a world shaped by screens and social platforms.
“‘GLITCH BITCH’ is a love letter to every fierce e-girl baddie out there shattering expectations,” the band shared in a statement. They described the song as a celebration of turning online presence into strength and confidence, with the internet framed as a place where power and self-image can be shaped on one’s own terms.
The release also marks Stitched Up Heart’s first project with Judge & Jury Records. The label was founded by producer Howard Benson and Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson. Benson praised the track, saying he was immediately drawn to the song when he first heard it. He also highlighted the energy of the video and the added impact of featuring members of Conquer Divide.
The “GLITCH BITCH” video reflects the song’s themes and the band’s connection to their audience. Featuring Kiarely and Kristen from Conquer Divide, the video takes place during a chaotic house party that unfolds over the course of one night. Tattoo artist Miao appears in the video, inking guests as the scene grows louder and more crowded. The cast also includes several goth and emo influencers, many of whom have large followings online.
With MEDUSA on the way and “GLITCH BITCH” leading the charge, Stitched Up Heart is stepping into 2026 with a release that blends heavy rock sound with modern digital themes, staying rooted in the style and attitude their fans know well.
