Los Angeles alt-rock trio Ramonda Hammer have released their new EP Wake Up, Play Nice, marking an intense and refreshed chapter for the band. The record follows the singles “Hush Money,” “Eyelash,” and “The Panic,” each of which gave early glimpses of the group’s sharper sound and emotional depth. To celebrate the release, the band will perform in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Pedro, with tickets available now.
Ramonda Hammer—Devin Davis, Justin Geter, and Andy Hengl—are known for their fierce, heart-driven approach to songwriting. Their music leans into raw feelings and explosive energy, built for moments of collapse and the strength that rises after. After taking time away in 2022 to rethink their direction, the band returned in 2025 with renewed focus. Wake Up, Play Nice reflects that shift, shaped by producer Maxcy James and mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Adrian Bushby. The EP pushes their sound toward its boldest edge yet, balancing thick, distorted tones with clear, unfiltered vocals.
