The track arrives as the latest chapter in a journey that has seen the band overcome industry setbacks while remaining firmly committed to a DIY approach.
Made up of brothers Dee, Isaiah, and Solomon Radke, the group first emerged from St. Joseph, Missouri, bringing together influences from punk, metal, and hard rock. Raised on the record collections of their father, the brothers developed a passion for loud, energetic music and carried that spirit into a career built largely on their own determination.
Over the years, Radkey has faced more than its share of obstacles. Label changes, industry shakeups, and difficult touring situations tested the band's momentum, but the group continued moving forward. Rather than relying on outside support, the brothers increasingly took control of their own path, handling touring, promotion, and releases on their own terms.
That independent mindset played a major role in the creation of Bedroom Sand. During the summer of 2025, the band worked with a professor at Syracuse University to gain access to the school's professional recording facilities while students were away for break. There, they recorded what would become their latest full-length album, using the opportunity to capture a collection of songs that reflects both their persistence and growth.
“Ready To Burn” showcases the band's signature blend of punk urgency, heavy riffs, and melodic hooks. The song carries the raw energy that has become a defining part of Radkey's identity while highlighting the confidence that comes from years of experience on the road and in the studio.
The album also includes the previously released single “Victory,” another track that reflects themes of perseverance and self-determination. Together, the songs suggest that Bedroom Sand will be one of the band's most personal and focused releases to date.
Known for their explosive live performances, Radkey has earned praise from fellow artists across the rock world and built a reputation as a powerful touring act.
