Self-deprecating and absolutely perfect. Oh Bummer’s newest single “Mirrors” is trip hoppy, pulsing indie pop with a nice soul groove. What I think I might like best is it’s kind of the charm of a project like Hobo Johnson but it’s a lot less pathetic and needy. Now I like Hobo Johnson but let’s face it, we are not always in the mood for the hyperactive in your face style of most of their tracks. It’s like Hobo Johnson goes to college. From the font, the album art, there is a whole brand here and I’m in. Sold, sign me up.
