Costa Rican psych-rock band Las Robertas have released their new album, All We Need Is Now, alongside a nostalgic video for the record's title track.
San José, Costa Rica-based psych-rock band Las Robertas have released their new album, All We Need Is Now, available now through Kanine Records and Spinda Records.
Alongside the album's release, the six-piece has unveiled an official video for the title track, “All We Need Is Now.” Produced, filmed, and directed by Madrid-based artist Juan Alvarez Santos, also known as Arma Blancx, the video captures the carefree spirit of 1990s handheld footage while paying tribute to The Rolling Stones' psychedelic classic The Satanic Majesties Request.
The band's first full-length release in three years, All We Need Is Now blends the hazy warmth of 1960s psychedelia with the shimmering textures of 1990s shoegaze and alternative rock. Across nine tracks, Las Robertas explore themes of personal growth, overcoming fear, and embracing the present moment.
Following the earlier release of lead single “Everything I Wanted To Be,” the title track serves as a fitting centerpiece for the album's uplifting message. Dreamy melodies, layered guitars, and sun-soaked production create an immersive listening experience rooted in the landscapes and culture of the band's Costa Rican home.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Lush, Ride, and Chapterhouse, Las Robertas continue to refine a sound that balances vintage psych influences with modern indie rock sensibilities.
Over the years, the group has built a strong international following through extensive touring and appearances at major festivals including Coachella, Levitation, Primavera Sound, and NRMAL. Earlier this year, they also shared the stage with influential shoegaze band Chapterhouse.
With All We Need Is Now, Las Robertas expand on the dreamy and melodic approach that has defined their work while embracing a renewed sense of optimism and self-discovery.
The band will support the release with upcoming tour dates across Europe and Latin America later this year.
