KEELEY: LAST WORDS SINGLE & UPCOMING EP

Although it has modern production this feels a little bit 90’s ish to me in the vein of Republica, Elastica, Lush and as I’m writing this and glance over the bands press release that is clearly who they feel their influences are as well.  It’s a solid track and I think it actually fits in with a lot of bands we’ve reviewed before like California’s Vanderocker or Total Brutal. Maybe this is the new California sound, although this particular track comes all the way from Dublin so it’s more authentic to the UK bands it’s influenced by. A publicist dubbed this dream-pop and I’m not sure what that encompasses but to me it sounds like 90’s alternative pop and that’s a good thing. We look forward to hearing more and you can also hear the great new track “The Glitter And The Glue” from her upcoming EP due out June 18, available via pre-order in the bandcamp embed above.
