Holy hell, what did I just listen to? I’ve been a fan of Electric Frankenstein for many years, and I can’t recall hearing them producing a record with this level of professionalism. These two, solid tracks are blowing my altered state of mind! I’m down the rabbit hole here, fo sho. These recordings are off the proverbial hook, incredible! Steve Miller should go down as one of the greatest, all-time, alt garage, big rock vocalists of all time. I’m not kidding. Please give this your time and you’ll see what I mean. It’s downright dirty!
Full disclosure, I have some inside info about the track Everybody's Dead Again. It was recorded in 2014!?! How this track could be shelved for this long, is beyond me. Wait, maybe it wasn’t. EF’s catalog is so extensive, I may have missed a release or two. Anyhoo, the two tracks from The Stripp are equally insane! Full of top-notch musicianship and nuance. I must own this vinyl record! I just went to order a pink or green record, but they’re sold out! Of course they are. Story of my life, missing out on the rare stuff, sigh. The Stripp’s - The Rising Tide (Official Video) features Lemmy, Rob Halford, Amy Winehouse, and Meatloaf, judging an array of musicians like Angus Young, GnR & Kiss. It’s hilarious!
Do yourself a rock ’n roll favor and listen to, or buy this record. Goddam, it's good!
