French Viking War Trance duo Eihwar have announced their second full-length album, Hugrheim, arriving March 13, 2026 via Season of Mist. Alongside the announcement, the band have released the pounding lead single “Nauðiz,” complete with a striking new video that doubles down on their ritual-meets-rave aesthetic.
Since erupting online in 2023, Eihwar have built a devoted following through viral performances, festival appearances at Hellfest, Wacken Open Air, and Midgardsblot, and increasingly packed headline shows across Europe. Their sound, a fierce hybrid of Nordic folk, trance rhythms, and electronic dance propulsion, has carved out a distinct space in the modern pagan scene.
“Nauðiz” showcases that fusion in full force. Driving percussion, pulsing synth layers, and chant-like vocals collide in a track that feels both ancient and club-ready.
