Cash Bribe Release Music Video for "Death Tax," New EP Demonomics Out June 13

Brooklyn hardcore band Cash Bribe is back with a new EP titled Demonomics, which drops June 13 on Futureless Records. This is their third release and the first to come out through the label. The band is known for its sharp and fast hardcore style, and this new EP shows them getting even louder and heavier.

The first single from the EP is called “Death Tax,” and the band has just released a video for the track. It was filmed in one day in Brooklyn with help from director Charlie Jordan. Singer Joey Dahlstrom says the video was made to show the decay and rough environment around them. The single is streaming now on all major platforms, and fans can pre-order the vinyl, which is a limited “Eco Citrus” color pressing.

Musically, “Death Tax” leans into a thicker, more aggressive sound. It mixes hardcore punk with hints of metal and rock and keeps the wild, fast energy they’re known for. Guitarist Kirk McGirk says the band added it to their live set right away because of how strongly fans reacted to it.

Demonomics follows their 2023 release Escape From New York. This time, the band worked with producer Zach Miller at Landmine Studios, a place known for recording other hardcore acts. The songs on Demonomics are sharper and more intense. Tracks like “Faith Aversion” and “Bay of Pigs” add new textures while keeping the hard, distorted riffs.

The lyrics on the EP deal with deep topics like power, decay, and survival. Dahlstrom says the new songs come from thinking about how nature and society can both feel violent and unfair. But instead of giving up, the band turns that feeling into energy and action.

Cash Bribe continues to grow their sound while staying true to their hardcore roots. For fans of noisy, direct, and heavy punk, this band brings something real. Their mix of old-school power and new ideas makes them one of the most exciting bands in the scene right now.
