Ben Quad have released their new studio album Wisher through Pure Noise Records, marking the band’s biggest and most ambitious work to date. Alongside the album, they premiered the music video for “All Your Luck,” a warm, memory-filled clip made from fan-submitted home videos shown across old televisions. The video uses these personal moments to match the song’s focus on love, connection, and looking back with care.
The band—made up of Brandon Purcell, Edgar Viveros, Griffin Scott, and Cole Fuchs—recorded Wisher after moving from Oklahoma to New Jersey to work with producer Jon Markson, known for his sharp approach to modern punk and emo. Living and writing on Markson’s farm gave the band long, quiet days that helped shape their new sound, mixing their familiar emotional style with brighter hooks and clearer production. This shift is heard most strongly on “All Your Luck,” a song built on upbeat guitars and a warm tone that reaches beyond their earlier, heavier work.
Wisher follows their 2022 debut I’m Scared That’s All There Is. While the first record centered on fear, pressure, and growing up, the new album focuses on hope and how people learn to hold on to good moments even when things feel uncertain. Songs like “It’s Just a Title,” “Painless,” and “Very Big In Sheboygan” explore loss, doubt, and the small joys that make life easier, all tied together by a theme of moving forward with honesty.
Visually, the album uses glitch effects and bright fireworks to reflect the band’s shift toward electronic touches and the idea of treasuring brief sparks of happiness. The band recently had an in-store performance and signing in Birmingham on November 15, and another appearance the next night in Nashville before their show at the Eastside Bowl.
Ben Quad were currently on tour with KOYO, performing across the U.S. before heading to the UK and Europe in 2026 to support Arm’s Length. Tickets and dates are available at benquad.com/tour.
