Arm’s Length Share New Video for “Morning Person”

Post-hardcore band Arm’s Length just dropped a new music video for their song “Morning Person,” from their second album There’s A Whole World Out There. The album is out now on Pure Noise Records and brings a noisy, emotional sound with strong lyrics about grief, anxiety, and family struggles.

The video for “Morning Person” is the final part of a three-video story, following up “Funny Face” and “You Ominously End.” Director Alex Scalzo-Brown says the video shows how grief can fill up a space and feel heavy and inescapable. It’s dark and cinematic, matching the song’s intense energy.

Singer and guitarist Allen Steinberg says “Morning Person” is his favorite song on the album. He wrote it while dealing with anxiety and difficult thoughts about family and self-worth. He also says that making the video helped him show how hard things can feel, while still leaving space for hope.

There’s A Whole World Out There was produced by Anton DeLost and includes band members Jeremy Whyte (guitar), Ben Greenblatt (bass), and Jeff Whyte (drums). The album mixes heavy guitars with honest lyrics. It has already reached #6 on Billboard’s Rock and Alternative charts, and #17 for Vinyl Albums.

Widely praised as a standout emo release, the album has struck a deep emotional chord with listeners. Many fans see it as a clear reflection of the band’s artistic growth since their debut, Never Before Seen, Never Again Found.

Arm’s Length will play a series of album release shows this June in cities like Chicago, Cleveland, and New York, with support from Charmer and Wakelee. They’re also playing Excellency Music Festival in August and When We Were Young Festival in October. A full UK and EU tour is planned for early next year with Ben Quad and Shoreline.
