Gothy and sparse is my first thoughts until the slow pounding floor tom comes in along with a dreamy female vocal. The voice immediately catches your ear because it’s so haunting and ethereal. For a moment it sounds like a slow version of “Goodbye Horses” in the breaks between vocals. The reverb delay soaked track definitely creates a dark atmosphere. For people who dig early 80’s goth like Tones on Tail you will hear familiar tones and fall in love.
The lead single "Rose + Crown" drops June 4 - be sure to check back for it. We got an advance copy and it is haunting and incredible.
