The Los Angeles dance-pop artist transforms her emotionally charged sophomore EP into an eight-track electronic companion project featuring collaborations with Holmesick, ALRT, BGZ and more.
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Taylor Felt has released her new remix EP, ELECTRA, an eight-track electronic reimagining of her sophomore EP, ELECTRABLOOM. The project follows the release of “BLOOMING SZN (Holmesick Remix),” which transforms one of Felt's most personal songs into a club-ready dance track.
Reworked by producer and DJ Holmesick, “BLOOMING SZN” trades its original production for futuristic bass textures and energetic electronic rhythms while preserving its central message of self-love, transformation and personal growth.
“I wrote BLOOMING SZN alone in my childhood bedroom and to hear Holmesick's remix was such a magical listen,” Felt explains. “He took a song that was deeply personal and breathed life into it while keeping the essence of self-growth and self-love.”
Executive produced by ALXi, ELECTRA features contributions from electronic artists including ALRT, BGZ and Polarroi, each offering a different interpretation of the material from ELECTRABLOOM.
Released earlier in 2026, ELECTRABLOOM explored emotional vulnerability, healing and the decision to prioritize yourself, pairing introspective songwriting with polished dance-pop production. The project received editorial playlist support from Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, helping introduce Felt's music to a wider audience.
With ELECTRA, those same themes take on a more explicitly dance-oriented sound, turning songs about navigating difficult emotions into opportunities for release and celebration.
Felt has built an independent career that extends beyond her recorded music, developing an online audience of more than 3.2 million followers across social platforms. Her previous accomplishments include performing the national anthem for the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Lakers, serving as a Yamaha ambassador and participating as a panelist at SXSW 2026.
Following her debut EP, Dead Flowers, and the success of ELECTRABLOOM, the new remix collection represents another expansion of Felt's dance-pop sound.
