Intriguing noisy rock from Brooklyn’s Heavenly Faded on their new single “Good For Nothing”. There’s a lot going on in this track, it certainly remains interesting and chaotic throughout. It starts with an almost post punk feel, but you hear a clear melody in the instrumentation that is brought out in the chorus which probably comes a little too soon for me. They make up for that later in the song with a long interlude that is effective, not boring at all. If I had any complaint I’d say these guys might wanna dig a little deeper lyrically to see if they can bring a complexity to that element of their music that matches the superb complexity of their instrumentation. Overall a promising track from a new band who seems to have the talent and drive to grow and evolve. Check em out.
