A little bit like if Bauhaus tried to write a love song in the vein of The Cure. It’s not bad, I quite enjoy the music but the vocals come off as a little somber and sung without conviction. The band is from San Diego and that might be part of the problem, it’s always sunny there, you guys gotta relocate to London or Seattle. Somewhere that it rains all the time so you can bring that authentic goth vibe to your music because you’re minutes away from suicide because of the seasonal affective disorder you’ve developed.
