I kind of get it, you like The Decemberist, Magnetic Fields,They Might Be Giants, and Belle & Sebastin and you are looking for the band that encapsulates all of them. It’s nice though.
Fleet Foxes “Shore” Anti-
Bands 8-10 song LP’s this is a new world. You got 2 short albums here or 3 EP’s. I’m just old and cranky. However, amazing album from beginning to end. These guys are like the Beach Boys of the indie world.
Mamalarky “Mamalarky” Fire Talk
The track “Fury” took the Scott Pilgrim band, made it female fronted and cooler and I love me some Sex-Bob-Omb so that’s a high compliment. It mellows out after that but it’s stays just as fucking cool!
Potatohead People “Mellow Fantasy” Bastard Jazz
Jazz soul funk flair from seasoned pro musicians with a bunch of great rappers. This is the future.
