Bobby Lee dreams us into Oblivian with "Origin Myths"

Slow, spaced and drugged out, dreamy and isolated. This is how the opening of “Four Skies Above” from “Origin Myths” by Bobby Lee will make you feel. You are alone. You are with your thoughts and no one else. Can you handle it? Is this reality or a subjective invention? Who knows.. It never ends. The song bleeds into the next, more chorus and verb than you might be able to handle. A Memory Man is your new muse. You follow with Love and Adoration. What next? What tragedy awaits us? Surely we will find out soon. I think Bobby Lee already knows. I think he is already prepared. Nothing fazes him. He is out in the wilderness of his basement. He is lost in the verb of creation. He is too busy for your shit. While you are busy with your monotonous drivel, Bobby is Looking for Pine and Obsidian. Are there vocals or is this all instrumentation by a multi-instrumentalist? I used to be in a band with a multi-instrumentalist. They typically have big egos. I guess they aren’t all the same. Maybe Bobby has his ego in check. Maybe Bobby knows he’s full of it like the rest of us. Maybe not. How much did the Fire Medicine Man medicate him? Surely this would be a clue. The badger and the locust can only rule the summer clouds so long. Bobby will explain. Or maybe he won’t. If he is impregnated by drops of rainbow, his stream of consciousness will move in every direction and no direction at the same time. Take a listen. Eat some edibles. Remember you will die. If you forget, Bobby will be there to remind you.
