T.S.O.L. Returns With Amazing Rocky Horror Picture Show Cover And More!

T.S.O.L., or "True Sounds of Liberty," emerged from the vibrant Huntington Beach/Long Beach, CA scene in the late '70s, carving a place in punk lore with their iconic band logo and anthemic tracks. Decades later, their fervor remains undiminished, their passion unabated.

Their latest album, "A-Side Graffiti," offers a kaleidoscope of sounds and influences, with "Sweet Transvestite" merely scratching the surface of its eclectic nature. "Swimming," hailed as a potential West Coast punk anthem, sets the tone with its infectious energy. The album traverses unexpected territories, from a loose cover of Louis Armstrong's "Wonderful World" to a reinterpretation of David Bowie’s “Can You Hear Me?” featuring musical friends like Frank Agnew, Chip Hannah, and Murphy. Even more surprising is their take on R&B sensation Amerie's "1 Thing," showcasing the band's willingness to defy expectations. Critics have lauded "A-Side Graffiti" for its innovation and dynamism.

Jack Grisham, ever the restless soul, emphasizes the importance of evolution in music. For T.S.O.L., stagnation is not an option. "I think it’s important for a band to keep pushing—trying new things," he reflects. "If not, you might as well do the county fair circuit." With "A-Side Graffiti," T.S.O.L. reaffirms their commitment to exploration and reinvention, inviting listeners on a journey that defies conventions and expectations.

In a landscape where nostalgia often reigns supreme, T.S.O.L. remains a beacon of defiance, unafraid to challenge the status quo. With "A-Side Graffiti," they continue to push boundaries, reminding us that punk's spirit knows no bounds. So, here's to T.S.O.L., stalwarts of rebellion, continuing to inspire and innovate with each chord they strike.
