Salem Wolves certainly get after it on their new track “Hostile Music” which is a combination of something that starts off sounding like a classic Billy Idol song and breaks into a big early 2000’s emo era chorus in the vein of My Chemical Romance or The Used. The vocals come off more masculine though and have a great rough edge to them. The overall vibe from album art to the music is a brand of punk mixed with classic rock kind of like AFI or something in that vein. It’ll be interesting to see if the forthcoming EP keeps this level of intensity throughout.
