South Bay–born and Nashville-based alt pop-punk artist MEGG has officially released her new six-track EP, Low Life Club, a loud and unapologetic statement that cements her place as one of the most exciting new voices in the scene. Out now on all platforms, the record delivers a high-octane blend of pop hooks, punk attitude, and raw honesty — tailor-made for misfits, lovers, and loudmouths alike.
Mixing the fearless energy of Gwen Stefani and Joan Jett with the vocal firepower of Hayley Williams, MEGG channels the golden age of early-2000s pop-punk while keeping one foot firmly planted in the now. The result is a sound that’s catchy, confident, and deeply personal — equal parts riot and release.
“The heaviness, the vulnerability, the riot, the nostalgia — Low Life Club has a little something for everyone,” MEGG says of the project. “It’s easily some of the best music I’ve ever put out.”
The EP includes fan-favorite “IDC,” already in rotation on SiriusXM’s The Pop Off and 107.7 The Bone’s Bone Breakers, alongside tracks like “Get Over It,” “The End,” and the title cut “Low Life Club.” Together, they showcase her knack for sharp hooks, bratty confidence, and emotional bite — a perfect snapshot of MEGG’s dynamic range.
A graduate of USC’s Popular Music Performance Program, MEGG has spent the past few years lighting up stages across the country. From headlining Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach to electrifying The End in Nashville, her live shows have built a reputation for their chaotic charm and explosive energy. She’s shared the stage with KISS and The Used, opened at Musink, played the 30th Anniversary Vans Warped Tour, and even performed the National Anthem for the LA Dodgers, LA Galaxy, and LA Sparks.
With Low Life Club, MEGG proves she’s not chasing trends — she’s leading the charge. Bratty, fearless, and undeniably fun, this is pop-punk with its heart on fire and its volume maxed out.
