Love Spells, the 20-year-old indie artist also known as Sir Taegen C’aion Harris, has just released his newest EP The Love I Showed You Was Yours To Keep. The project is now available everywhere through Loveless/ADA Worldwide.
The six-track EP blends soft guitar sounds, peaceful vocals, and warm production. It explores topics like heartbreak, mental health, and emotional growth. Each track adds to a dreamy and calm listening experience. The songs are gentle, romantic, and filled with yearning.
To go along with the EP, Love Spells released a new music video for the track “Bones And All.” Inspired by the Luca Guadagnino film of the same name, the video shows two lovers trying to escape their darker desires. It’s shot like an old indie movie and mixes drama, tension, and emotion. Love Spells says, “I made ‘Bones And All’ to reflect one of my favorite movies. It shows a love that’s strong and hard to explain.”
The EP also includes previously released singles “Reach Out And Kiss Me,” “Lovers Only,” and “How?” These tracks have already received support from major platforms like KCRW, Apple Music, and BBC Radio 1. “Reach Out And Kiss Me” and “Lovers Only” were both featured on popular playlists, while “How?” was praised by KCRW for its dreamy and swirling sound.
Love Spells has also been touring across North America, opening for Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory. The tour wraps up tomorrow night at August Hall in San Francisco. He recently played his first sold-out headline show at Union Pool in Brooklyn, winning over a full crowd with his soft and emotional set.
