Los Angeles-based punk rock artist MEGG has dropped a new music video for her latest single, "The End." The song captures an intense inner conflict, with lyrics reflecting a battle between two versions of herself—one carefree and joyful, the other chaotic and destructive.
MEGG created the video with photographer-turned-director Madison Hedgecock. The pair brought together a group of close friends and filmed the project in just eight hours. "Madison has such a great eye and knows how to capture me, my personality, and my band in a genuine way," MEGG shared. Editor Emily Rifkin helped bring the final product to life, crafting a visual that adds another layer to the song's emotional depth.
Blending pop and punk influences, MEGG has built a fearless sound that resonates with outsiders and free spirits. A graduate of USC’s Popular Music Performance Program, she has performed alongside major acts like The Used and KISS. Her career has taken her from LA’s rock clubs to grand stages like the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Disney Concert Hall. She’s also sung the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium and LA Galaxy matches, and some might remember her from her appearance on NBC’s The Voice.
Now signed as a songwriter with Reel Muzik Werks Publishing, MEGG channels the high-energy spirit of early 2000s punk with a vocal style that’s both fierce and unfiltered. Since moving to Nashville, she’s been making waves with a steady stream of releases. In 2024 alone, she has released seven singles, with "The End" set to premiere on February 28. Later this year, she will drop her fourth EP.
