The Rumjacks Announce New Album Dead Anthems Coming in 2025!

Celtic punk band The Rumjacks are back with exciting news: their new album, Dead Anthems, will be released on February 7th, 2025, via FOUR FOUR. This will be their sixth album and follows the success of their 2021 LP Hestia, which received praise for its social commentary and storytelling. The band has been teasing the new album with the release of two singles: “An Irish Goodbye On St. Valentine’s Day” and the pro-immigrant anthem “Come Hell Or High Water.”

Dead Anthems was recorded in Asbury Park, NJ, and co-produced by lead singer Mike Rivkees and Pete Steinkopf, who is known for his work with bands like The Bouncing Souls, Beach Slang, and The Menzingers. With these new tracks, The Rumjacks continue to bring their signature loud, energetic sound while exploring new themes. Fans can already pre-order the album online.

Along with the album announcement, the band revealed an upcoming UK and European tour for early 2025. They will also be performing at the Red Bridge Festival in Quebec, Canada, next June. Full tour dates can be found on their official website.

The Rumjacks have come a long way since their formation in Sydney, Australia, 17 years ago. Their music has evolved over time, but they have stayed true to their energetic, party-like spirit. Fans of their viral hit “An Irish Pub Song,” which has over 91 million views on YouTube, can expect more of the same high-octane, anthemic punk sound they know and love.

The Rumjacks have a knack for blending infectious energy with meaningful messages, making their Celtic punk sound both fun and thought-provoking. Their ability to evolve while staying true to their roots is what keeps their music fresh and exciting for fans across the globe. As Dead Anthems approaches, the band’s growth and new music make it clear that The Rumjacks are ready to make 2025 their biggest year yet. Keep an eye out for more updates as the album release date gets closer.
