Laura Jane Grace & the Mississippi Medicals have announced a 22-date headline tour across the U.S. Midwest and West Coast this spring. The new band, led by punk icon Laura Jane Grace, features a powerhouse lineup including Matt Patton of Drive-By Truckers on bass, Mikey Erg of The Ergs on drums, and Paris Campbell Grace on vocals and percussion. The tour kicks off on April 1, 2025, at Off Broadway in St. Louis, MO, and wraps up on April 30 at Amsterdam Bar & Hall in Saint Paul, MN. Along the way, they’ll be joined by special guests Alex Lahey and Noun.
Tickets are on sale now for this! The tour follows the release of the band’s debut EP, Give An Inch, which is now streaming on all platforms. Recorded at Dial Back Sound in Water Valley, MS, by bassist Matt Patton, the EP showcases the group's blend of raw energy and seasoned musicianship. The project features standout tracks like "All Fucked Out," praised by Rolling Stone for its country-punk vibe, and the dynamic "Karma Too Close." Vinyl bundles of the EP are also available for purchase.
Grace, who has long been celebrated as a trailblazing artist and activist, brings fresh perspective and creativity to this new project. With the Mississippi Medicals, she channels her punk roots while exploring broader musical landscapes, creating a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.
