UK indie rock band Delta Sleep has just unveiled the video for their latest single, "Figure In The Dark." The video was shot in West Virginia during a day off from the band’s tour and adds a unique visual layer to the song’s already deep message.
Delta Sleep’s fourth album, Blue Garden, will be released on October 11 through their own label, Sofa Boy Records, in partnership with Wax Bodega. The album was recorded at Daft Studios in Belgium with producer Mark Roberts and is said to feature a blend of electronic samples, new instrumentation, and the band’s signature math rock sound.
The band’s new track, “Figure In The Dark,” is loosely inspired by The Neverending Story and explores finding one’s voice in a world where many choose to stay silent. It fits well with the broader themes of the album, which tackle despair, anxiety, and resilience in the face of global turmoil. Yüceil explains that Blue Garden was heavily influenced by the ongoing crisis in Palestine, reflecting a mood of helplessness while searching for hope.
