A Portuguese, ambient, emo band you say? Yes, and that’s all true. Atmospheric, reverb guitar effects and hypnotic, mood-altering rhythms with psychedelic videos to boot. Reminiscent of bands like ‘Washed Out’ or certain Jincheng Zhang (Vehement) songs, which I love. A quirky area of music that has specific sounds and song structures. A sort of Shoegaze sub-genre in which the overall sound is apparently hard to achieve, hence how rare these artists and songs are. Melancholy tuneage that pairs perfectly with early mornings and coffee. Approved!
