We know you're not reading this anyway since you mostly listen to Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. On a lighter note while society is crumbling at our feet there has been no slowdown of cool new music. What we think they sound like: When I heard this was ex-Mineral I was thinking I was going to be getting something more 90's emo, sparse, with heavy spots, more post punk. I was surprised that it felt more like a "It's A Shame About Ray" era Lemonheads tune. It also has hints of The Smithereens, REM, maybe a little Sloan. I was pleasantly surprised that it was throwback but not to what these guys are known for. It's worth a listen and it's only the first track they've released so I'm sure there is much more to come.

What the band says they sound like: Confessional lyrics and emotive vocals plead over whirling synths, guitars, and drum machines. The Postal Service, Now Now, and Tegan and Sara.
What we think they sound like: I hear the Tegan & Sara comparison, less of The Postal Service except for the fact there is a drum machine but the songs are more bass and guitar driven with less synth. I think anyone into Claud, Soccer Mommy, Phoebe Bridgers, Japanese Breakfast, Snail Mail, Charly Bliss is gonna find something they love about this. It's catchy, it's fun, it's sonically pleasing all the way through. Great songwriting. At moments the music has a great 90's feel like it could be something that was written by Liz Phair or That Dog. Also, LOVE the album cover art.

What we think they sound like: I definitely hear The Get Up Kids influence but I would say that is mixed with a lot of other 90's Alt rock stuff to more modern things like All American Rejects and Motion City Soundtrack. I definitely feel like this is a continuation of where a bunch of bands like that left off. Maybe a little bit of Say Anything in there too. I like that it has a good mix of rock and punk to keep each song driving.

What we think they sound like: Speaking on their upcoming single "Attention", do you like Steve Winwood, Go West, Prince and a bunch of other guys who wrote pop gems that stand the test of time. Well, welcome to your new favorite band. I like this and when I'm in the right mood I love this.

What the band says they sound like: Featuring members of Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu, PLOSIVS, Sultans, Night Marchers, Jejune, Lee Rocker, Lady Dottie and the Diamonds
What we think they sound like: This album is a mish mosh of lots of different styles but it all teeters on a punk rock edge but at times reminds me of 90's revival garage rock stuff. I kind of enjoy the stuff like "I Aint Your Pawn" that does have that more throwback feel, for a moment it's like a Steppenwolf song. Other tracks like "Do You Wanna Still Make Out?" have humor and a feel like Wet Leg meets The Ramones. Tracks like "Rip From The Bone" have a little bit of Exile On Main Street swagger, and enough blues blended with punk to add a great overall energetic raucous sound to the this album.
