The Dharma Chain have released a new remix of their song “See Through,” reworked by Berlin producer Mike Midnight and now available on digital platforms through Spinda Records. The Australian-born, Berlin-based band first shared the original version of the track in September; this new mix pushes it into a deeper electronic space, turning the song into a slow, dreamlike journey.
Midnight’s version reshapes the track with hazy atmospheres, soft industrial touches, and a mix of broken downtempo and drum-and-bass rhythms. The vocals and guitars drift in and out like memory fragments, creating a cinematic feel that contrasts with the sharper tension of the original. Where the first version explored the struggle between belief and confusion, the remix leans into a more subconscious mood, moving like something caught between sleep and waking.
“See Through (MM Dream Mix)” expands the band’s growing neo-psychedelic style. Formed in Byron Bay and now based in Berlin, The Dharma Chain have spent the past few years building a sound that blends warm guitars with swirling, hypnotic textures. After their 2022 debut Nowhere and their recent signing with Spinda Records, they are now preparing their second album, set for spring 2026. Both the original “See Through” and this remix act as a bridge between their first phase and the more immersive direction they are moving toward.
For Mike Midnight, the remix fits naturally into his catalog of surreal and atmospheric electronic work. Known for releases like his Angel Hours EP and his project trickpony with Roza Terenzi and Gem K, Midnight continues to explore a style that blends dark tones with melodic detail. His music has appeared on NTS, Rinse FM, and pipipi, and he brings that same layered approach to this new version of “See Through.”
The remix stands as a vivid meeting point between The Dharma Chain’s neo-psych sound and Midnight’s dreamlike electronic world, offering a fresh, shadowy path into the band’s next chapter.
